About Us

Established in 1936, Neville Registrars has earned an outstanding reputation as the choice provider of share registration services and an all round experienced CREST registrar. Our long experience has taught us that technical excellence and solid relationships result in a successful business.

We believe the best service is provided through relationships, and as such we pride ourselves in the attention that we dedicate to our clients. Your work is not fragmented across disconnected functional departments, your phone call is not answered by a call centre, and your account is not managed by a series of anonymous team members. With us your service is provided by one relationship manager, an experienced registrar with day-to-day registration duties, and a similarly experienced support manager to cover for any absences.

Operating from its own premises in Halesowen, the company is a CREST accredited Registrar and Receiving Agent to Takeover Offers, whilst delivering direct, friendly, helpful advice from our experienced staff.

Some years ago, Neville Registrars brought the entire spectrum of printing services for shareholder communications in-house. This has enabled us to offer facilities such as combined notices of availability and personalised bar-coded proxy card production and processing, representing the best value to our clientele without outsourcing to expensive third parties.

In June 1991 Brian Cox joined Neville Registrars in an executive capacity and took a controlling interest. After reading Law at Cambridge, Brian joined merchant bankers S G Warburg & Co Limited as part of a team advising on Takeovers, Mergers and New Issues. Brian was appointed Company Secretary of S G Warburg & Co Limited, Mercury Securities PLC, and Keystone Investment Company PLC. From there, he moved to become an Executive Director of Barclays Merchant Bank Limited specialising in Takeovers and New Issues. Since then, he has served as non-executive Chairman of several companies, including fully-listed East Lancashire Paper Group PLC, Ashley Industrial Trust PLC and Camford Engineering PLC before buying into Neville Registrars Limited, where his wide corporate advisory and legal experience is particularly relevant.
